Highfield Level 5 Diploma in Operations and Departmental Management (RQF)

The Highfield Level 5 Diploma in Operations and Departmental Management (RQF) is designed for learners who manage teams and/or projects and are responsible for the achievement of operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of the delivery of an organisation’s strategy. These roles can be in the private, public or third sector and in all sizes of organisations.

 

Roles may include operations manager, regional manager, divisional manager, department manager and specialist managers. Key responsibilities may include creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring.

The qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills in leadership and management such as:

Duration

The total qualification time is 420 hours, of which, a minimum of 201 are recommended as guided learning hours. The time to complete the course will be dependent on the application of the learner.

Entry Requirements

Learners must be aged 16 and over to complete this course, there will also be an initial assessment of English and mathematics conducted prior to the start of the course.

Course Materials

Learners will be allocated an e-portfolio, containing an electronic handbook and workbook as well as e-learning modules
