Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration: The objective of this course and subsequent qualification is to support a role in the workplace. This qualification is aimed at learners working in a senior business administration role. It aims to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding across a range of administrative practices and tasks, e.g. managing information. As well as being a stand-alone qualification, it also forms the knowledge and competency requirements of the Advanced Apprenticeship Framework in Business Administration. This course is delivered by distance learning supported by both online webinars and seminars.
Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors, including small and large businesses in the public, private and charitable sectors. The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers, contributing to the efficiency of any organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.
The total qualification time is 580 hours, of which, a minimum of 282 are recommended as guided learning hours. The time to complete the course will be dependent on the application of the learner.
Learners must be aged 16 and over to complete this course, there will also be an initial assessment of English and mathematics conducted prior to the start of the course.
Learners will be allocated an e-portfolio, containing an electronic handbook and workbook as well as e-learning modules.
